Founded in 2009 by Chef Iván Clemente, El Comedor de la Kennedy is a nonprofit organization working to address food insecurity in Puerto Rico.
Today, it distributes food through 60 locations and provides services to more than 50 senior housing facilities, as well as schools, universities, government agencies, nonprofits, and other community organizations.

Food Security - Free meals, groceries, food distribution, and access to food for communities experiencing food insecurity
Children and Older Adults - Food assistance focused especially on children and older adults, two populations central to the organization's mission
Community Support - Food distribution through community locations and partnerships with schools, universities, senior housing facilities, nonprofits, and other organizations
Disaster Response - Community-based food and resource distribution during emergencies and disasters
